Our Resident Cosmetic Nurse - Toni
Driven by a desire to help everybody feel comfortable in the skin they’re in, Toni made the move to the world of cosmetic injectables after working as a Registered Nurse for thirteen years. For the last eight of those years, Toni worked as a Clinical Nurse Specialist within the fields of community and chronic disease, bringing with her a wealth of well-rounded expertise to her current role as a Cosmetic Nurse where she specialises in anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers and skin health. This knowledge is further enhanced by the intensive initial and ongoing training with Juv’ae, one of Australia’s leading providers of education for cosmetic treatments.
Although Toni has her own clinic based on Portland, Victoria, she operates here at Pure Skin & Laser Clinic on a regular basis to do anti-wrinkle injections and dermal filler treatments.
What to expect
Toni’s approach is not about making drastic changes to the facial structure, but rather creating subtle enhancements with antiwrinkle injections and dermal fillers to help each of her clients feel as beautiful as they already are. She is caring, considerate and, most importantly, personalised, understanding that everyone has their own idea of beauty, comfort and confidence.
Before proceeding with treatment, Toni takes the time to truly get to know her client’s needs and wants before conducting a full facial assessment, reviewing their medical history to ensure the treatment is safe for them and will produce the desired results, and addressing any concerns and questions they may have. Toni also has a background in skin health so she understands the multiple layers of skin and how they may impact the result. The outcome of these discussions are then further confirmed with a Registered Doctor via Skype during the consultation before treatment can proceed.
